VALUING BRAZILIAN ARCHITECTURE AND ARTISTS

Brazilian culture, local visual arts, and native design are our great inspirations. We invite local artists to transform our spaces, paying tribute to national identity.

At Emiliano São Paulo, common areas combine minimalist decoration with iconic design pieces and artworks. The bright, airy lobby showcases the cocoon by artist Siron Franco, golden rope chairs by renowned designers Fernando and Humberto Campana, and Branco & Preto armchairs, creating a contemporary atmosphere. Other highlights include the FAU leather sofa, Beto chairs, and Sergio Rodrigues’ Mole armchairs, among other exclusive pieces created for Emiliano.

The architectural concept of Emiliano Rio, designed by Arthur de Mattos Casas, revives Brazilian modernism, blending sophistication and comfort with Rio’s casual lifestyle. At reception, a renowned panel by artist Roberto Burle Marx welcomes guests. Inspired by shades of green honoring Guanabara Bay, fabrics and textures of the lobby’s furniture were selected to reflect nature. The hotel’s decor highlights the golden era of bohemian Copacabana, featuring 1950s designer furniture that adds personality and coziness to its modern architecture.
