We are committed to a sustainable future for the planet and want to increase our efforts over the years.
Zero Waste: All organic waste from our hotels in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro is sent for biomethanization and, at the end of the process, is composted. All other waste is disposed of properly.
Upcycling: Creative transformations of discarded materials.
Consumption Reduction: Energy and water efficiency practices.
Sustainable Infrastructure: Electric vehicle chargers, bike racks, and vegetable gardens.
Reusable Materials: Encouraging the use of refillable bottles and reusable cups.

The pajamas are made by upcycling discarded 400-thread-count sheets, reusing materials and reducing environmental pollution. 90% of the sheets are reused in one year.
This set of pieces benefits society by creating jobs for seamstresses in the local community. All proceeds go to Solar Meninos de Luz – a philanthropic organization that promotes comprehensive education.

Available in four styles:
The Emiliano Rio towel bag is one of the hotel’s newest creations. Developed in partnership with designer Luly Vianna, it’s produced using the upcycling concept. Inspired by the natural tones and lightness of Ipanema’s charming beaches and the hotel’s reception area, the hotel’s discarded bath towels undergo a hand-dyeing process, creating an exclusive color by artisans from Taboão da Serra, São Paulo, creating jobs for the local community.
Composition: 100% Towel – 100% Recycled.
The Emiliano placemats are another sustainable project at the hotel. In partnership with the NGO Casa Santa Maria and designer Luly Vianna, we transformed our old restaurant towels into placemats handmade by women, giving new life to the fabrics by reusing old materials and respecting our environment.
Emiliano Bear is a story of transformation and environmental awareness. Created through the Hotel Emiliano’s upcycling initiative, and with the vision of designer Luly Vianna, each bear is made from recycled towels. Hand-dyed by the NGO Orientavida, these bears support the empowerment of socially vulnerable women.
The Emiliano slipper is a step toward sustainability. Created through a partnership between Hotel Emiliano and designer Luly Vianna, it’s hand-dyed with 100% recycled towels. Made by seamstresses from the NGO Orientavida, you’re contributing to the empowerment of socially vulnerable women.
In partnership with 374 Pets, old linen curtains and blackouts that would otherwise be discarded are transformed into the Farofa Bag, a travel bag and bed for your best friend, filled with foam from recycled PET bottles.
This bag can be purchased on the 374 Pets website
