ART FOR ART AUCTION

The ‘Art for Art’ auction is a charity event curated by Pedro Buarque de Hollanda, bringing together works from renowned artists such as Adriana Varejão, Alex Cerveny, Ana Elisa Egreja, Emmanuel Nassar, Luiz Zerbini, Lídia Lisboa, Marcela Cantuária, Márcia Falcão, Miguel Rio Branco, Nilda Neves, Vik Muniz, Vivian Caccuri, and Tainan Cabral. The initiative builds a support network between established artists and emerging talents, especially those from peripheral communities.

In its third edition (2023, 2024, and 2025), the auction has raised over 8 million BRL, with all proceeds donated to institutions that use culture as a means of transformation, expanding opportunities for young artists and communities. Produced by Paula Simonsen and supported by galleries such as Almeida & Dale, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel, Galeria Millan, Gentil Carioca, Gomide & Co, Nara Roesler, and Blombô, the initiative reinforces our commitment to valuing art and its power for social transformation.
